Summer Sports and Math Program

2014 Opportunity for B Ed graduates
My name is Colin Strange and I operate a summer integrated sports and math program called S.M.A.R.T. [Sports, Math and Rec Training] We are not associated with any school board but have delivered Ont Curriculum Math, PE and Art/Music/Drama to JK gr 6 children for the past 20 years. More than three dozen [past and present] SMART instructors are currently teaching in Ontario schools.

Our staff consists of Ont certified teachers, Faculty of Education graduates and mature volunteers [University Seniors seeking entrance to a Fac Ed program]. Each year we receive 100+ applications from teachers and Fac Ed candidates/hopefuls. However, many applications arrive during the late spring, after our first two rounds of hiring.

We are especially interested in mentoring PE, Math & B Ed candidates. Our 2012 & 2013 testimonials demonstrate how talented our collaborative staff is each summer.
